Sophiasnoozin

You knew it was inevitable, didn’t you? I’ve put together a little video of Sophia’s first 2 weeks of life. Go here to view it. You’ll need Quicktime. There’s a bit at the hospital which was filmed in the first 48 hours after the birth and then a section at home during the first two weeks. Music in the video is from Yann Tiersen and Jack Johnson.

It is amazing how much more a moving picture communicates than still pictures. Hope you enjoy!

Stripper

My little sister send this too me from Santa Cruz, California. I would imagine that there are some frat rat college boys down at UC Santa Cruz that would be in for a shock when they opened up this can of tricks and are greeted by the pine fresh scent of turpentine rather than the frat party favour of the century.

I’ll get back to it…

Parenting leaves little time or energy for blogging or little else.

I’m also in the home stretch of two university courses. Finished a paper on Faust (yuck) and now have to complete one next week on 19th century nationalism in Europe.

Be back soon.

And yes, Sophia and Heather are fine.
