Ahhhhh…. back home. Sorry that the blogs disappeared for a few days. It is a direct reflection of how crazy life got for a few days.

The rest of the time in Germany was really beneficial. The 24-7 weekend was a total success with young leaders from around the nation going home with a real sense that they are a part of something very big and that they have a responsibility to fulfill in their local regions.

England was good as well, very busy, lots of 24-7 meetings. I am a bit sick at the moment i think because of the cold and not enough sleep, but am taking a couple of days off to recoup and get ready for the weekend.

Wow! Dresden is a really cool place. I am really enjoying myself. We went to town so i could by a new book to read as a finished everything i had with me yesterday during the travel. I got the book that the movie “Gangs of New York” is based on. I have always been fascinated with the city… I am such an urbanite. We also went shopping for a sweater (jumper) as it is seriously could here and I only have one sweater with me. We found out that it is pretty impossible to find a cool sweater in Dresden for under 50 euro… i guess i will freeze!

The best bet by far was hanging out in Markus’s (24-7 Germany leader) church’s pub that is in the same building as his house and the 24-7 office. It is seriously cool and not overtly in-your-face Christian and a very mellow environment. Christians and non alike were there just chilling together and being friends. People that were possibly anti-God were there and slowly learning that maybe Jesus isn’t who they thought he was…. rockin!

We are heading to another city about 2.5 hours away where the 24-7 weekend will take place. Yahoo!

i have totally been slackin’ on the blogger front. Just a bit of a boring busy week i guess.

I am in Dresden, Germany this week. I have yet to reallz see the city since i arrived last night at about 11.30. Lots of cobblestone streets and old buildings so far. The trip here was a bit tedious (5 hours with 2 of them in the Palma de Mallorca airport… tons of sunburnt drunk germans hanginag around waiting for their flight home after vacations…), but i really can’t complain as i got here safe and sound.

I’ll be sharing about 24-7 at a national gathering this weekend. I am really looking forward to that…

write more later… heading to town.

We had a great little dinner party tonight. Jesús & Rachel were down from Madrid, some friends Juanan and Inma came over and Jim made a totally awesome curry spread. Yum! I ate the Vindaloo (very hot) and i do believe that i sweat more than when Jim and I jog for an hour on Mondays & Thursdays! I might even have to shower before I go to bed!

Kati’s “plight” is still getting worse… Next week she is going to actually be calling out to all the boys in the neighborhood… Oh my goodness.

Have you ever had a dog that was in heat? I hadn’t until this week. We notices something strange going on when specific parts of Kati’s nether regions started to get a bit, um, larger than normal. She has also started to get a bit more interesting to the male elements of the species in our neighborhood. They haven’t started to congregate around the door yet, but we figure they might be there by next week. I will spare you the details but this honestly isn’t the most enjoyable experience of my life.

We are into week number two of a three week ordeal. Pray for us!
